The Doorstep Project is a 40ft long urban artic wagon which has been converted to provide a space that can be used for a wide number of uses, e.g. play, youth sessions, consultation etc. The facility is self contained and has access to a wide range of resources provided by the Rochdale Toy Library, and the Rochdale Play Resource Centre. Salt and Light is a Christian Outreach Ministry operated by the Glasgow Church Elim. Anne Wallace, Co-ordinator of the project and her team of volunteers take their very distinctive double decker bus into Glasgow’s red light area to provide support to the working women and also food to people who are homeless.
